I currently work at Splunk in Plano, Texas. I am a Technical Support Account Manager.  I hold several certifications as well as a degree in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement from the University of North Texas.

I really enjoy working at Splunk. The product is really fun to work with. If you don’t know anything about Splunk I highly encourage anyone to take the free fundamentals course on their website. Once you get a grasp of it you will begin to see there are limitless possibilities of what Splunk can help you achieve.

I’ve always had a special aptitude for technology. I learned to program in BASIC when I was 14. I had a TRS80 from Radio Shack that I sat on for hours writing all sorts of creative code for. It never occurred to me at the time that people would pay me to code.

Years later I went from coding to figuring out how the Google search engine works. People started paying me to get their sites to the top. I loved the challenge! I am sure a lot of my clients competitors were thinking, “How did that company get up there?!”

I have many hobbies. I am an advanced certified scuba diver and love to act. I have one movie credit to my name and I’m hoping to add another credit or more some day. I’m married to the love of my life and have two awesome boys. Being a dad is great!
